Who you are
We’re seeking an Engineering Manager passionate about leading Platform teams. Your mission is to provide scalable infrastructure, shared services, and a seamless developer experience to support our telemedicine product.
What you’ll do
Individual Level:
Mentor and guide engineers to achieve high quality, reliability, and productivity.
Assist engineers in career development based on their skills, personalities, and work styles.
Provide continuous feedback, assess performance, address underperformance, and recognize individual strengths.
Collaborate with peers and product teams to maximize customer value and enhance team delivery.
Team Level:
Ensure platform teams deliver high-quality products by following engineering best practices combined with a pragmatic approach to scope.
Foster continuous improvement in code, architecture, and processes.
Hire and onboard technical staff as needed.
Organization Level:
Drive engineering-wide initiatives with the technology team.
Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics for assessment and improvement.
Contribute to the talent management framework.
Your skills and experience
Solid engineering background with modern cloud-based tech stacks.
Strong focus on operational excellence and platform availability.
Excellent technical judgment on architecture and product decisions, with a pragmatic approach.
Skilled in mentoring engineers and identifying areas for improvement.
Passionate about helping engineers learn new skills and advance their careers.
Proven experience managing engineering teams of 8-12 engineers.
Experience as a hiring manager for software engineering roles.
