Our Story

SteadyMD was founded by childhood friends Guy Friedman and Yarone Goren when they noticed the many challenges patients and doctors were facing in receiving and delivering primary care.

In 2016, SteadyMD launched a first-of-its-kind concierge primary care service, direct-to-consumer, and completely online. The service was centered around creating long-lasting and ongoing personal relationships between patients and doctors.

SteadyMD initially launched in two states: California and Missouri. By 2018, the company was licensed, operating, and providing care in all 50 states.

Telehealth Platform Refined Over Years

In designing, building, and refining the service over the years, the company strengthened its clinical, technical, and operating platform. SteadyMD later expanded into other services, such as mental health. The business became highly skilled in recruiting, hiring, and training large numbers of clinicians in all 50 states.

The SteadyMD team has developed robust, day-to-day medical operations and expertise around the myriad of legal and regulatory requirements of each state. The company continually refines its technology and products to enable the highest-quality user experiences for patients, clinicians, and staff.
