Your new role: You will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Diagnostics Operations Manager to ensure the seamless delivery of our Enhanced Doctor@Hand service. Our Diagnostic Experience (DX) team is integral to the DCA patient journey, prioritizing the safe and efficient delivery of clinical services to AXA Health customers. Central to our mission is supporting our clinical workforce in processing patient test results accurately and promptly.

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Requirements

Key accountabilities/ responsibilities:

  • Support the Diagnostics Operations Manager to monitor performance against targets and maintain a monthly report to ensure that SLA and quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Supporting the day to day running of the Diagnostics service, working closely with colleagues in the Diagnostic and Clinical Teams to escalate queries and issues with providers where appropriate
  • Provide administrative support in the development of clinical protocols/procedures, service delivery and performance related to the diagnostics service.
  • Working with the wider clinical team to effectively log and manage live incidents in a timely manner
  • Using MEG our complaints and Incidents system to manage and produce monthly reports for Diagnostics Operations Manager to escalate with providers and AXA
  • Extracting data and creating monthly reports for external suppliers/diagnostic providers to drive continuous improvement in service delivery for DCA patients
  • Taking minutes/actions during meetings and following up where appropriate
  • Completing audit and Quality Assurance checks to ensure clinical compliance, and opportunities for continuous Improvement are Identified
  • To undertake other duties that may reasonably be required
  • Promoting a culture of patient – centred and good professional practice relating to the safeguarding of adults, young person’s and children at risk
  • Actively implement safeguarding protocols for children, young persons, and vulnerable adults and to know who to refer to and how to escalate concerns about radicalisation
  • Ensure that provisions in relation to all Mental Health Legislation including the Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005), are implemented in accordance with the legislative requirements, Codes of Practice requirements and National and Government Guidance

Skills and Experience

    • Experienced in administration, including systems and process design and management
    • Able to work Independently and multi-task
    • Demonstrable organisational and communication skills, able to effectively prioritise workload
    • Excellent Microsoft office skills and demonstrable experience
    • Proactive, considered and focused in nature
    • Motivated by the pursuit of clinical excellence and patient safety
