Your mission
Join us as an Event Management Working Student (20h/week) to revolutionise the way we experience events at deskbird, transforming them into unforgettable moments that inspire, connect, and energise. You will be at the forefront of creating innovative and impactful events, using your creativity to engage attendees in ways they never imagined. Through your passion for event management and your commitment to excellence, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant company culture at deskbird, making every event not just an occasion, but a milestone.
In this role you will
- Event Planning & Execution: Conceptualise and execute engaging events from start to finish, ensuring each event is memorable and impactful (including and not limited to all logistics).
- Creative Engagement: Utilise your creativity to develop innovative approaches to engage attendees, incorporating elements of gamification and interactive experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Director P&C and Founders to align events with our overall strategy and objectives.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors, venues, and contractors to deliver high-quality event experiences as well as handling invoices.
- Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyse feedback from event participants to continuously improve future events.
What you need to be successful
- Passion for Events: A genuine passion for event management, with a desire to create engaging and memorable experiences.
- Creativity & Innovation: Exceptional creativity and the ability to think outside the box, coming up with diverse and innovative approaches to engage participants.
- Gamification Expertise: A strong understanding of gamification techniques and how to apply them effectively in an event setting.
- Engagement Skills: Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for engaging people from diverse backgrounds and speaking in front of groups of people.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a university programme within Germany related to event management, marketing, communication or a related field.
- Previous experience: Internships and working student placements in similar fields in a fast paced environment.
- Language Skills: Business fluency in English, with German language skills being a plus.
