Dentons Business Services EMEA is the operational backbone of Dentons, supporting the world's largest law firm in delivering exceptional service to clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As a crucial component of Dentons' global network, our EMEA business services team plays a key role in driving efficiency, innovation, and collaboration.

As a Pricing Coordinator at Dentons, you will be supporting our Europe Pricing function as well as contributing to shaping and optimizing pricing strategies to enhance the competitive positioning of our global law firm. Collaborating closely with the Europe Pricing Manager, partners, and the business development team, you will help to drive the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies aligned with client needs and market conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Pricing Strategy Support: Support the Europe Pricing Manager, partners and business development team to assist in the development of effective pricing strategies aligned with client needs and market conditions.
• Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation and presentation of competitive pricing proposals for legal services. Collaborate closely with the Proposal Team to create cohesive pricing proposals promptly in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Risk Assessment: Review Terms & Conditions to assess and help mitigate potential financial risks associated with the pricing structure.
• Financial Analysis Assistance: Support the Europe Pricing Manager to conduct detailed financial analysis, providing insights into the cost and profitability of proposed client engagements.
• Performance Analysis: Assist in monitoring the performance and profitability of pricing strategies, contributing insights and making recommendations to price adjustments for performance optimization.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with partners, business development team, proposal team and finance/reporting teams to facilitate effective communication and alignment on pricing decisions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Process Improvement Input: Contribute ideas and insights for continuous improvement of pricing processes, working towards implementing best practices.
• Participate in Pricing Sessions for Non-Pricing Teams: Engage in pricing sessions, promoting collaborative efforts to develop integrated and efficient pricing strategies.

Requirements:

• Education: master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or related roles, with a preference for exposure to the legal industry.
• Analytical Skills: Possess strong financial and data analysis skills, demonstrating the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Business Acumen: Develop a solid understanding of the legal industry, market dynamics, and client needs, with guidance from the Europe Pricing Manager.
• Language Proficiency: A good command of English is essential for effective collaboration with teams across different markets.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, building strong working relationships.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interaction and understanding among diverse teams.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and completeness in supporting pricing proposals.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities under the guidance of the Europe Pricing Manager.
