What started as a shared vision between two serial entrepreneurs has grown into a global force in the customer service industry. Jonathan Keane and Joe Schmidt have been delighting customers since taking their first phone calls together nearly 25 years ago. With over 20 years of experience leading customer service for both fast-growing startups and established businesses, they understood that a business's success is dependent on customer service to differentiate from competitors. When they needed to either build or buy customer support for numerous e-commerce brands, they visited call centers around the world, only to be disappointed by what they saw. The state of the industry, the work environments, and the way people were treated fell short of their needs.
Fueled by this discovery, they became determined to figure out a better path forward and partner for outsourced support. In 2017, they created the partner they always knew the industry needed: CustomerHD. Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, the company was built on the belief that a customer-centric approach should be the cornerstone upon which an entire business is built. They set out to change the public perception of customer service by hiring people who share their passion to deliver exceptional, human-first solutions.
