About the role
Joining our team as a Technical Test Engineer you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to effectively test features/technology for the CSG Quote & Order product to maintain& improve quality standards. You will develop and execute tests using modern tools such as Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance).
In your first 90 days, you’ll get comfortable with our system, join a squad, build strong relationships with the team, and get involved in new feature development to deliver high quality outcomes for our customers.
What you’ll do
Compose test plans, execute tests, review requirements coverage, capture/document test results and use your brain power for root cause analysis.
Use the latest tools like Karate (API), Cypress (UI) and k6 (Performance) as part of our test cycles.
Performs automated and manual test execution for functional, application, regression, and integration tests.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, reviews, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, etc.
Be part of a multi-skill squad with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers and other Software Testers.
Role Requirements
2+ years of Software Test Engineer experience.
Bachelor’s/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Knowledge in software testing and methodologies/processes.
Experience with Test Automation: Writing/maintaining test automation scripts.
Effective communication and collaborating across multiple teams, ensuring understanding of written material.
It's a plus if you are familiar with: Cypress, Cucumber & Karate DSL and have experience in one or more programming languages (preferably JavaScript/NodeJs).
