As a Software Developer - L2 Support at CSG, you will be a key contributor to maintaining and enhancing our software products. You will leverage your technical expertise to resolve complex issues, support ongoing development, and ensure high-quality software solutions for our clients.

We are looking for Software Developer who will:

  • Provide advanced technical support and debugging for critical software applications, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with development teams to analyze and interpret Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), ensuring alignment between support and development efforts.

  • Contribute to the ongoing Software Development lifecycle, including defect resolution, enhancements, and system improvements.

  • Perform comprehensive Software Product Testing to validate fixes, new features, and ensure overall system stability and performance.

  • Develop and maintain clear and concise Technical Writing, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and support documentation.

  • Engage in Stakeholder Management, effectively communicating technical information and support progress to internal teams and external clients.

  • Actively participate in an Agile Principles-based environment, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Potentially offer Mentoring Youth within the team, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster growth and development.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Proven experience in software development and/or L2 technical support roles

  • Experience with Java

  • Experience using Kafka as a messaging system

  • Working knowledge with PostgreSQL database

  • Experience working with containers & container management (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm).
  • Experience with centralized logging platforms (Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana)
  • CI/CD Toolchain (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub).
  • Strong proficiency in Debugging complex software applications

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Agile Principles

  • Ability to interpret and work with Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

  • Solid grasp of Software Design principles and methodologies

  • Experience with Software Product Testing methodologies and tools

  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and communication skills

  • Proficient in Technical Writing, capable of producing clear and actionable documentation
