What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, particularly in Trust and Estate law.
- Minimum 3 years of experience using Canva is required.
- Proficiency in using Lawmatics Practice Management Software.
- Proficient in legal research techniques and using legal databases.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience making small edits in WIX websites.
- Experience in using Wealth Counsel Legal Software.
Nice to Have:
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What will you do?
- Provide administrative support to an attorney in Trust and Estate Law
- Manage attorney's calendar
- Handle client intake calls and qualification process
- Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and estate plans
- Manage client communication and scheduling
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Utilize Lawmatics Practice Management Software for case management and documentation
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist with publishing and managing marketing content on social media
- Perform data entry tasks
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks and other assignments
