Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Developer responsible for developing and maintaining essential internal systems that support the business's operations. This role focuses on systems centered around Salesforce, including integrations with other external systems such as Netsuite and the client's own websites and services. Situated within the IT organization, this position will develop, maintain, and manage efficient business solutions to enhance overall operations, aiming at cost reduction, increased employee productivity, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop business applications and integrations, both individually and in collaboration with the team.

  • Develop and support custom APEX and LWC solutions for the client's Salesforce instance, including all associated packages, tools, and integrations.

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with technical colleagues and management.

  • Prioritize tasks effectively, with an emphasis on time management and efficiency.

  • Provide leadership for rapid resolution of issues affecting production systems.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years as a Salesforce Admin or Developer (APEX, Visualforce, or Lightning).

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control (Git), and Salesforce coding best practices.

  • Proficiency in the Salesforce data model and ETL processes.

  • Experience with Salesforce flows, formulas, and validation rules.

  • Familiarity with middleware technologies, ETL tools, and web services (REST, webhooks).

  • Background in distributed systems design, with AWS experience being a plus.

  • Agile team environment experience and project management skills from concept to production.

  • Strong analytical skills to document complex system configurations and assess business impact.

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, systems engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
