Descripción de la función:

El Gerente de Proyecto - Servicios es responsable de planificar, ejecutar y cerrar proyectos dentro del sector de servicios. Esta función implica la coordinación con varios equipos y partes interesadas para garantizar que los proyectos se entreguen a tiempo, dentro del alcance y dentro del presupuesto. El Gerente de Proyecto también administrará los recursos, supervisará el progreso del proyecto y garantizará el cumplimiento de los estándares y las mejores prácticas.

Responsabilidades:

1. Planificación e inicio del proyecto:
- Definir el alcance, los objetivos y los resultados del proyecto en colaboración con la alta dirección y las partes interesadas.
- Desarrollar planes integrales del proyecto, incluidos cronogramas, hitos y asignación de recursos.
- Identificar los riesgos del proyecto y desarrollar estrategias de mitigación.

2. Ejecución y coordinación de proyectos:
- Liderar y coordinar equipos multifuncionales para ejecutar los planes del proyecto.
- Supervisar el progreso del proyecto y realizar los ajustes necesarios para garantizar el éxito de la entrega del proyecto.
- Facilitar la comunicación y la colaboración entre los miembros del equipo del proyecto y las partes interesadas.
- Garantizar que todos los proyectos se entreguen a tiempo, dentro del alcance y dentro del presupuesto.

3. Gestión de recursos:

  • Asignar y gestionar los recursos de forma eficaz, incluyendo el personal, el presupuesto y el equipo.
    - Asegurar la disponibilidad y asignación de recursos de acuerdo con los requisitos del proyecto.
    - Realice un seguimiento e informe sobre la utilización y el rendimiento de los recursos.

    4. Aseguramiento y control de calidad:
    - Implementar procesos de aseguramiento de la calidad para garantizar que los entregables del proyecto cumplan con los estándares requeridos.
    - Llevar a cabo revisiones y auditorías periódicas de los proyectos para garantizar el cumplimiento de las normas y las mejores prácticas.
    - Identificar áreas de mejora e implementar acciones correctivas según sea necesario.

    5. Gestión de las partes interesadas:
    - Mantener una comunicación eficaz con las partes interesadas, incluidos los clientes, los miembros del equipo y la alta dirección.
    - Gestionar las expectativas de las partes interesadas y garantizar que se cumplan sus requisitos.
    - Facilitar reuniones periódicas sobre el estado y proporcionar informes de progreso a las partes interesadas.

6. Documentación e informes:

  • Preparar y mantener la documentación del proyecto, incluidos los planes del proyecto, los informes de estado y los registros de riesgos.

Conocimientos, Habilidades y Destrezas:

Educación:

Licenciatura en gestión de proyectos, administración de empresas o un campo relacionado. Se prefiere la certificación PMP o equivalente.
Experiencia:

Mínimo de 3-5 años de experiencia en gestión de proyectos dentro del sector servicios.

Role Description:

The Project Manager - Services is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the services sector. This role involves coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will also manage resources, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Initiation:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    - Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

2. Project Execution and Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project plans.
    - Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
    - Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
    - Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

3. Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and equipment.
    - Ensure resource availability and allocation in line with project requirements.
    - Track and report on resource utilization and performance.

4. Quality Assurance and Control: - Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards. - Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and best practices. - Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

5. Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
    - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are met.
    - Facilitate regular status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
    - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
    - Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the services sector.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    - Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
    - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
