ABOUT THE ROLE
As an intern with Open Hand Studio at CannonDesign, you’ll dive into the heart of a mission-driven design studio focused on social impact. You’ll explore our purpose, practices, and 2025 goals, then take the lead in shaping what’s next. You’ll have the opportunity to pitch bold, actionable ideas to enhance our work and bring at least 2–3 of them to life during your internship, leaving a real mark on projects that matter.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Immerse in the mission, values, and work of Open Hand Studio, gaining a strong understanding of its role within CannonDesign.
- Research and analyze current practices and 2025 strategic goals to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop and propose creative, actionable ideas that align with the studio’s objectives.
- Lead the implementation of 2–3 selected ideas, collaborating with team members and partners to ensure meaningful outcomes.
- Document and present the impact of your work, contributing to the studio’s storytelling and future planning.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Must be enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant program.
- Prior experience or previous internship in a related field is preferred.
- Availability to commit to the full internship timeframe: July–August 2025.
- Proximity to a CannonDesign office is preferred to enable potential in-person engagement.
