Brown and Caldwell's Finance & Accounting (F&A) team is seeking a full-time Senior Finance Technology & Transformation Systems Analyst to join our growth-oriented professional engineering and environmental consulting company. *This role has the potential to work virtually and can be filled near any BC office, preference of Denver. If outside Denver metro area, expected travel is 40-50%.

What you will do:
- Support the Senior Director of Finance Transformation in developing comprehensive solutions and project initiatives.
- Be the subject matter expert for routine financial processes and systems – developing a deep understanding of the people, processes and technology that enable operational effectiveness in support of company strategy.
- Facilitate system configuration and implementation, data migration, customization, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to determine primary needs and goals, supporting system enhancements and solutions to meet those objectives.
- Assist in developing the scope of work and work plans necessary to define and solve systems related problems in areas such as automated systems, information management, internal controls, work methods and procedures.
- Champion and influence operational teams to embrace new and enhanced processes, supporting end-user training efforts and helping ensure successful adoption.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital Services (DS), Finance Planning &Analysis (FPA), Operations, etc. to understand business requirements and translate them into system design and functionality.
- Partner with key stakeholders to define the strategic application and data strategy and drive the enterprise finance roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and thought leadership to define and document software strategy, roadmaps, architecture, and design decisions.
- Resolving technical issues and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Prepare various materials including training documentation, department procedures, handbooks, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in information technology, business, or business administration, or related field.
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience analyzing business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Experience developing reports, analyzing data, and driving informed decision making.
- Experience leading projects that utilize technologies such as SQL, C#, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Adaptive, MS Project, and D365.
- Strong familiarity with company financial reporting, audits, and compliance frameworks, including ability to implement robust controls and risk management practices.
- Candidate should be proficient in all basic MS Office tools.
- Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly and proficiently.
- Ability to travel intermittently as needed.
- Experience within the environmental engineering or consulting industry a plus.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $85,000- $116,000
Location B: $$94,000- $128,000
Location C: $$102,000 -$140,000
