Wayne County is actively seeking an AP, Fixed Assets, and Expensed Subject Matter Expert Consultant with a proven track record in utilizing Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in optimizing Accounts Payable processes, proficiently managing Fixed Assets lifecycle, and effectively handling expensed items. The consultant will play a vital role in enhancing financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the organization by leveraging their hands-on familiarity with Oracle Cloud's capabilities in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and consultation on all aspects of Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Expensed processes.
- Analyze and optimize Accounts Payable workflows, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments, while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the management of Fixed Assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal processes.
- Advise on proper classification and reporting of expensed items to enhance financial accuracy and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, best practices, and Oracle Cloud solutions for these financial domains.
- Conduct training sessions to educate staff on efficient use of Oracle Cloud tools and processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in handling Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Expensed processes.
- In-depth expertise in utilizing Oracle Cloud for financial management, with a track record of successful implementations.
