Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a strategic, data-driven, and operationally excellent leader to join our leadership team as Vice President of Business Operations and Analytics. This role will report to the CFO and manage the Business Operations and Data Science teams.

The VP of BizOps and Analytics will be a key partner to the CEO, CFO, and executive team, helping translate vision into operational plans and ensuring we execute with clarity, discipline, and speed. You’ll lead strategic planning, performance tracking, and cross-functional initiatives that ensure our care model, clinical teams, and operations scale efficiently and impactfully.

You should thrive in fast-paced environments, bring structure to ambiguity, and be energized by the opportunity to directly impact both company performance and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Partner with leadership to define and operationalize company strategy, ensuring alignment with clinical outcomes and business goals.

  • Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, translating strategy into measurable goals and clear team priorities.

  • Monitor progress and make real-time adjustments to keep teams aligned and moving forward.

Metrics & Performance Management:

  • Define and manage the company’s core business and clinical operations metrics.

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and review cadences to track performance and drive accountability.

  • Use data to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improved care delivery.

  • Partner with executive leadership to define KPIs and develop frameworks for tracking progress across clinical efficacy, engagement, and growth.

  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the company.

Operational Excellence:

  • Streamline workflows across care, ops, product, and business teams to increase coordination and efficiency.

  • Implement tools, systems, and processes that support scale while maintaining high quality.

  • Build scalable processes that reinforce a high-trust, high-performance operating rhythm.

Cross-Functional Project Leadership:

  • Drive high-impact initiatives from concept through execution—ranging from market expansion to patient experience improvements.

  • Create project structures, timelines, and success metrics that keep teams accountable and on track.

  • Ensure coordination across departments, surfacing risks and removing blockers proactively.

Executive Partnership & Team Development

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and CFO and rest of the leadership team, providing insight and perspective across key decisions.

  • Build and lead high-performing BizOps and Data Science functions, developing talent and fostering a culture of impact and ownership.

  • Support board preparation and investor communications as needed.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in business operations, strategy, consulting, or general management; startup or high-growth experience preferred.

  • Strong track record of driving measurable impact across planning, execution, and optimization.

  • Analytical and systems thinker with deep experience in building and managing business metrics.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presence.

  • Experience leading high-priority cross-functional initiatives.

  • Comfort with BI and planning tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Airtable, Salesforce, etc.).

We offer several benefits, perks, and stipends:

Brightline is dedicated to addressing the significant challenges families face when seeking behavioral and mental health care for their children and teenagers. Many parents find the process of finding timely, affordable, and high-quality care to be overwhelming, often encountering long waitlists, difficulty navigating insurance, and a fragmented system that doesn't cater to the unique needs of young individuals. Our customers, these families, are looking for accessible solutions that can provide support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, conduct disorders, and other common childhood behavioral health issues. They need a partner who understands the urgency and the emotional toll these challenges can take on the entire family unit.

At Brightline, we offer a comprehensive, family-centered approach to pediatric behavioral health. We provide virtual therapy, psychiatry, coaching programs, and on-demand support designed specifically for children, teens, and their caregivers. Our services are built to be convenient, allowing families to access care from the comfort of their homes, thereby reducing the logistical burdens often associated with traditional in-person appointments. We aim to empower families by equipping them with the tools, resources, and expert guidance needed to navigate their child's behavioral health journey. By partnering with employers and health plans, we strive to make our services more affordable and readily available, ensuring that more children and teens can receive the critical support they need to thrive. Our mission is to transform the behavioral health landscape for young people, making it easier for families to get the right care, at the right time, in the right way.
