At the heart of Bloom is a mission to build workplaces that work for everyone. Founded in 2018 by Avery Francis, Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy based in Toronto, Canada, that partners with founder-led, growing small to mid-sized companies to prioritize strong people systems early on. The company operates with a deep-seated belief that the traditional ways of working are no longer sufficient and that organizations must evolve to become more equitable, inclusive, and diverse.

Bloom's culture is built on kindness, transparency, and a commitment to anti-oppressive practices. As a remote-first team with members spanning from Iceland to Vancouver, they champion a flexible and human-centered approach to work, exemplified by their adoption of a 4-day workweek. They offer a range of services including fractional HR advisory, recruitment, and specialized DEI training through their 'Bloom Academy'. Beyond consulting, they provide tools like 'Petal', a digital HR hub, to help companies streamline their people operations. Bloom is dedicated to designing systems that remove barriers for historically marginalized communities, ensuring that every employee has the opportunity to thrive.
