MuleSoft Developer - Technical Consultant

Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated MuleSoft Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions that enable seamless communication between applications and systems. You'll work on creating new integration use cases, while also supporting and maintaining existing integrations and operations. You will gain exposure to multiple integration strategies and technologies used to maximize the value provided to the client. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy new integration use cases using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Support, maintain, and optimize existing integration solutions to ensure their ongoing performance and scalability.
• Develop solutions for both event-driven / real-time architectures and scheduled batch jobs, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Create reusable, scalable, and efficient integration services using MuleSoft best practices.
• Develop APIs, web services, and connectors to integrate with cloud-based and on-premise applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across various platforms and systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges, making decisions and recommendations to optimize solutions, while clearly articulating those details to the client.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentor junior developers.
• Stay up to date with new MuleSoft features and best practices to ensure the development of robust and modern solutions.
• Ensure that integration solutions are aligned with business requirements and technical specifications, while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft. Some experience with Anypoint Code Builder (ACB) or other generative AI tools (e.g. curietech.ai) is a plus.
• Experience with the following MuleSoft components: API Manager, API Governance, Visualizer, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Experience with MuleSoft Automation (RPA, IDP) is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST), message queues, and data formats (XML, JSON, etc.).
• Proficiency in Java or other programming languages, with a focus on MuleSoft development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git-based), and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise systems (CRM, ERP).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues independently while also knowing when to seek support from technical leadership.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven/real-time architectures and scheduled batch jobs.
• Ability to support and enhance existing integrations while balancing the need for new use case development.
• Strong experience in thoroughly defining test case scenarios, conducting quality assurance testing, and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Must have an active (i.e. not expired) Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer (formerly MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1) certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Any other Salesforce Certified MuleSoft certifications.
• Databricks experience for big data analytics, data engineering, and integration use cases.
• Knowledge of security best practices in API management (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.
