At Aquia, I built a TPA payment page for Maryland FAMLI that lets a TPA with 25 clients submit one payment instead of 25. I also unified employer and TPA payers in a polymorphic ActiveRecord model, reducing estimated work on seven later tickets by 30–50%.
For VA Disability Compensation, I migrated form fields to VA Design System components in React and built a Rails job to check claims through the Lighthouse Benefits Claims API. For VA Contention Classification, I deployed a Python and FastAPI classifier with Docker and AWS ECR.
At One Health Link, I created asynchronous runners to simulate chatbot conversation routes and developed production email and SMS messaging. I also automated chatbot testing with Playwright and deployed code to Azure using Terraform.
Across earlier roles at Tom Sawyer Software, Ascension, Wunderman Thompson, and other employers, I worked on graph databases, cloud data pipelines, APIs, and web applications. At CWT, I created a Nuxt.js website that replaced multiple desktop apps and saved $360,000 annually.
