What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support people with empathy and trauma-informed communication—handling sensitive situations calmly, maintaining accurate records, and growing toward forensic-focused work grounded in criminal justice and psychology.

I currently work as a Patient Access Associate, serving as the first point of contact for patients in the Emergency Room. I collect copays, verify patient information for accurate registration, and create a compassionate, understanding environment for patients and families.

Previously, I built strong conflict-resolution experience through hospitality roles as a Bartender and Hostess/Cashier. I de-escalated situations with intoxicated patrons and managed front-of-house operations, including providing translation support for a diverse clientele while enforcing safety policies.

I bring a people-first, trauma-informed approach from both my studies and leadership. As a Club President, I managed club operations, scheduling, and budgeting, and organized fundraisers and campus events, which strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork; I’m also pursuing graduate study in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology.
