Enthusiastic researcher and lecturer with expertise in economics.
What I'm looking for
I am an enthusiastic researcher and lecturer with extensive experience in the public sector, focusing on economics. My journey has led me to conduct qualitative research on the role of private businesses in the public sector, and I have spent five years lecturing in higher education. After taking time off to raise my children, I am eager to return to the workforce and contribute my skills and knowledge.
In my recent role as an Economics Research Advisor at LNG2020, I provide economic advice to a consultancy primarily composed of scientists. My ability to communicate complex economic concepts effectively has been crucial in influencing decision-making. Additionally, as a founding Director of EASE, I have developed fundraising strategies and organized community events, showcasing my leadership and organizational skills.
My academic background includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham, where I explored Public Finance Initiative contracts in infrastructure projects. I am passionate about applying my research skills to real-world challenges and am committed to fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
