William Butler

I currently facilitate online study skills and transition instruction for grades 9–12 at Kings Peak High School, supporting academic and behavior goals, IEP meetings, and family communication.

As Director of Exceptional Student Services for Avondale Elementary School District, I led identification and evaluation for special services, maintained compliance with ADE requirements, secured service providers, supervised personnel, and delivered professional development for ESS staff.

At Arizona State University, I supported regional educator teams, strategic intern and student-teacher placements, teacher-candidate growth, mentor training, and program alignment across clinical and research faculty. I also taught and supervised teacher candidates while contributing to data literacy, governance, and program-review work.

My work is grounded in special education, inclusive practice, classroom management, transition planning, and collaborative teacher preparation. I share this work through conference presentations, publications, and adjunct teaching at Grand Canyon University.
