At ATAfrica, I lead engineering across five production products built with Django, React, and TypeScript. I delivered trader payout and bonus workflows, creator campaigns, wallets, and KYC from database schema and API through to customer interfaces.
I built payment flows with Paystack signature-verified webhooks, idempotent wallet ledgers, and reconciliation jobs to prevent duplicate balance changes. I also strengthened the Django backend with TOTP 2FA, rate limiting, PII encryption, and authenticated access to KYC files.
At ATAfrica, I built AI assistants with access limited to the signed-in user's data, including read-only text-to-SQL and trader-failure analysis. I improved slow endpoints with Redis caching and leaner queries, and deployed services on AWS and Heroku.
Previously, I built a document-based RAG chatbot backend at Platinex Solutions and Django services at DRUPRR. In my open projects, I extended a Python IDE with an offline AI tutor and built browser-based PostgreSQL and document-preparation tools.
