I'm Vinay, a full-stack developer specialising in React Native and the MERN stack with 4+ years of experience building mobile and web applications at early-stage startups. I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can take products from concept to production.

What I Do

I build scalable applications across the entire stack - from intuitive mobile interfaces to robust backend systems. My expertise includes full-stack development focused on frontend and mobile app development. I handle everything from architecture decisions to UI implementation, third-party integrations, and deployment.

My Startup Journey

I've been an early team member at three startups:

NOVOS (July 2023 - Present) - Building a longevity and health optimization platform. As an early mobile team member, I've built personalized questionnaires, an AI-powered coach, health data integrations (Apple Health, Oura, Whoop, Fitbit), biological age tools, and health dashboards. Currently leading a UI/UX revamp and developing a B2B React portal.

OSBIOME (May 2022 - Dec 2023) - Built a React Native health tracking app for gut microbiome analysis. Independently managed development for 6 months while working with partners. Integrated Google Fit and Apple Health APIs, designed a referral system, and built a nutritionist dashboard with automated push notifications.

ONEIOT (April 2021 - April 2022) - Designed and developed the complete Smart Home App from scratch for Android and iOS. Implemented real-time IoT device updates using AWS IoT Core, built geofencing-based automation, and integrated Bluetooth Low Energy for direct device communication.

What Drives Me

I'm passionate about building products that solve real problems. I use AI tools daily to accelerate development while maintaining a deep understanding. I'm comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership end-to-end, and enjoy rapid prototyping. I believe in shipping fast and improving continuously.

Beyond Work

I love remote work and have successfully worked across teams in the US, Singapore, and India for 4+ years. I'm always learning through tutorials, courses, documentation, and side projects.
