At Licorne Vacation Homes, I managed day-to-day operations for a growing portfolio of short-term rentals in Dubai, working remotely from South Africa. The portfolio grew from approximately 15 to 30+ properties.
During the latter part of my tenure, I took full responsibility for property onboarding and offboarding, coordinating owners, documentation, suppliers, compliance, setup and closure. I also managed listing creation and updates across the property lifecycle.
I managed the guest journey from enquiry and booking through post-stay support, maintaining an Airbnb rating of approximately 4.8–4.85 and an average response time of approximately five minutes. I coordinated cleaners, drivers and villa managers, and followed operational and supplier issues through to resolution.
Earlier, I co-founded 420 FOLK EVENTS & INFUSIONS and managed event planning and operations. I also edited and reviewed English subtitles and transcriptions at PIXELOGIC MEDIA, where I achieved a GOLD quality rating as a junior editor.
