I have been working in the diplomatic corps for the past 7 years, specifically with the Rwanda High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa. During my time there, I have been responsible for managing official and Presidential visits, handling diplomatic communication and follow-ups with other Embassies and the Diaspora, organizing and coordinating events for the mission, and managing logistics for the Embassy. I have also coordinated official visa applications and travels, as well as elections for the Diaspora community.
In addition to my diplomatic experience, I have also worked as an IT Support professional. I have provided IT support and website updates for the Rwanda High Commission in Pretoria, as well as worked as a Junior Network Administrator for Group BAZANO in Johannesburg and the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have experience in end user support, software and hardware troubleshooting, LAN and WAN installation, and backup systems.
Furthermore, I have worked as an Operation Agent for RwandAir in Johannesburg, where I ensured a high level of customer service for passengers with reduced mobility. I assisted passengers from the terminal entrance to the check-in area, security checks, and departure gates. I also liaised with supervisors and load control offices to meet the requirements of wheelchair passengers and special cases.
I hold a Diploma in Information Technology Networking Exchange server 2003 (MCSE) from Varsity College in Pretoria, as well as a Certificate in Computer Engineering from the same institution. I also have a BTech in Communication Networks from Tshwane University of Technology.
