What I'm looking for

I'm looking to solve real operational and safety problems through industrial control systems, plant data and applied AI, working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams from design through commissioning.

I’ve delivered control, safety and applied-AI work across Anglo American, Sasol, NJCSI and Unilever, from plant-floor problem definition through commissioning and post-handover support.

At Anglo American, I led multi-site alarm rationalization using SQL, Python and Power BI, driving Siemens PCS 7 changes that reduced nuisance alarms by 28%. I also built an internal agentic alarm and PSM knowledge assistant using RAG and MCP, with engineers kept in the loop.

I bring 15+ years in PLC, DCS and SIS environments, including functional safety leadership on a R2 billion copper-leach project and a R20m control-system upgrade delivered in-house.
