What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my student affairs leadership, urban education training, and customer-focused problem solving to help communities thrive—supporting residents and learners with safe, responsive, and tech-enabled programs.

I’m a Graduate Assistant at Langston University, where I’ve taken on high-trust leadership responsibilities as Acting Resident Director. I lead student staff with an emphasis on an inclusive, community-focused residential environment while keeping operations running smoothly for more than 300 residents.

In my role, I manage daily housing and facility operations, ensuring policy implementation and compliance with safety protocols. When campus emergencies or student crises arise, I respond immediately with conflict resolution, resource referrals, and clear next steps.

Before graduate assistant work, I served as a Resident Assistant, supporting community-building through social programming and handling administrative tasks for the Resident Director. I enforced code of conduct and college policies and remained available to students during quiet hours for urgent situations.

Earlier in my career, I worked for Scotiabank Bahamas Ltd. as a Personal Banking Officer, strengthening client relationship management and service delivery across cash and digital transactions. I also bring strong academic grounding in broadcast journalism and continue building my focus through my Master of Urban Education program.
