Tyler Andersen
@tylerandersen
Product designer helping early-stage teams ship and grow through strategy, UX, and retention-driven design.
What I'm looking for
I’m a product designer with 6+ years of experience working alongside early-stage founding teams, and I’ve learned what it really takes to get from constraints to market. I build my own apps, so I naturally design with runway, onboarding friction, and shipping reality in mind.
In my recent freelance work, I’ve taken products from brief to launch fast—like delivering a peptide tracker app to App Store in under 3 weeks—and I focus on measurable outcomes like engagement, retention, and conversion. I embed with teams to move from 0-to-1 strategy through MVP development, use Claude and Figma Make to prototype quickly (often getting engineers building the next day), and track day 1/3/7 retention, WAUs, and revenue in Mixpanel to drive what we do next. When I design, I connect strategy, brand, UI/UX, onboarding, and growth—whether it’s improving lead form conversion through funnel redesign, strengthening payments and conversion flows, or tightening the design-to-dev process with robust design systems.
