I recently relocated to Washington DC from Newark New Jersey to find more corporate advances. Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked across different roles, and in the past 3–4 years I’ve found my footing in an office setting.

I went to trade school to be a HVAC technician, but they placed me in an office environment, where I learned how proficient I can be in a more professional setting. That shift shaped how I approach work—organized, service-minded, and detail-focused.

At Fedex Operations, I handled the clerical side of facility operations, including managing shipment records, quality assurance, customer service, and addressing damaged or misaddressed packages. I keep processes accurate so customers and internal teams can move forward without delays.

Before that, at the Newark NJ One Stop Program, I made sure paperwork was stamped, sealed, and ready for higher-ups to review. Earlier at Air Group, I arranged appointments, supported daily office needs, and delivered great customer service to callers and visitors.
