At Standard Chartered GBS, I build distributed payment services that expand cross-border payment operations. I've delivered REST API integrations for DPO in Nigeria and Kenya, PSP connectivity with Mizuho Bank for Japan, and localized cash-disbursement connectivity in Uganda and Zambia.
I built core services for UPI Autopay's mandate lifecycle, securing payment workflows with OAuth2 and JWT. I also modernized fund-transfer architecture by replacing legacy STS integration with a scalable service-based solution and reduced database load by 20% through multi-country holiday-validation caching.
I enjoy turning operational challenges into useful products: my React-based internal testing tools cut manual payment-workflow testing effort by 40%. My work spans Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, testing, and peer code review.
Beyond payments, I've built a full-stack batch-payment application and a RAG-based coding support assistant using LangChain, ChromaDB, embeddings, semantic and hybrid search, and reranking.
