What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own backend services and REST APIs, build scalable microservices, and contribute to high-impact product features (like payments). I want a team that values responsibility, learning, and reliable delivery.

I’m a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software development, including 3.5+ years of hands-on work with Golang. I analyze and design software systems and microservices according to client requirements, and I focus on scalable, high-performance backend applications.

In my recent roles, I’ve developed REST APIs using Java and SpringBoot, and worked on microservices architecture to improve modularity and reduce dependencies. I also designed user interfaces using TypeScript and Angular8, and I’m comfortable with tools like Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, log4j, Postman, Swagger UI, and JMeter.

Beyond core APIs, I’ve built a cache management system for efficient data handling and used Python for converting dataframes into Excel files and supporting visualization/reporting. On the Payments team, I worked on Glofox platform features—handling payments/payouts and integrating multiple providers (Paystack and Nicepay), supporting a RESTful API that handled over 1 million requests per day with response times under 1 second.
