What I'm looking for

I'm looking to advance applied hydrology research and water resources engineering work that supports climate-resilient water management, irrigation performance, and infrastructure safety.

I've taught hydrology, hydraulics, and water resources engineering at Wollo University since 2016, while leading the Water Resource and Irrigation Engineering department.

I work on climate-driven hydrological change, flood modelling, irrigation performance, dam and reservoir hydrology, groundwater, and watershed-scale analysis. My research includes published work on soil erosion, streamflow response, water quality, climate impacts, and irrigation, and I have supported irrigation assessment and decision-support projects with FAO and IWMI.

I use HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWAT, HBV, MODFLOW, GIS, remote sensing, and R to advance climate-resilient water management and infrastructure safety in Ethiopia and beyond.
