I've spent over five years supporting water supply work at the Hoko Woreda Water, Mine and Energy Office in Sidama State. As a Water Resources Engineer and Irrigation Engineer, I develop and supervise projects involving water resource management, irrigation, flood control, and water supply.
I identify spring water sources and gather essential field data including GPS coordinates, discharge, distance, beneficiary history, and beneficiary numbers. I also lead water and sanitation infrastructure construction through technical support, supervision, and quality assurance.
I've supported rehabilitation and new construction of water supply facilities, including spring development, hand-dug wells, and hand pump or rope pump installation and repair.
