What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue developing research that combines molecular biology, fungal genomics, epigenomics, and reproducible bioinformatics workflows to study host–pathogen interactions.

I'm pursuing a PhD in the GenEvo PhD Program at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, investigating chromatin accessibility, epigenomic profiling, and multi-omics integration across RNA-seq and small RNA data.

My research on Monilinia fungal pathogens has produced peer-reviewed work on mitochondrial long non-coding RNAs, host–pathogen relationships through in vitro host mimicry, fungicide resistance evolution, and temperature-dependent aggressiveness in the Monilinia–peach pathosystem.

I build reproducible bioinformatics workflows using Linux/HPC, Bash, R, and Python, spanning NGS quality control, alignment, transcript assembly, genome analysis, differential expression, variant analysis, statistical modelling, and visualization.
