I am a Molecular Biology and Genetics graduate with hands-on experience in plant tissue culture, green synthesis of nanoparticles, DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and protein analysis techniques. I graduated from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi with High Honor and a 3.51/4.00 GPA.
Currently, I work at Cistron Biologics A.Ş. as an R&D, Business Development and Customer Relations Assistant Specialist, where I gained experience in sales of enzymes, kits, reagents and consumables used in research workflows, and contributed to project and product development in a laboratory setting.
I have research and internship experience in plant pathology and tissue culture laboratories, participated in TÜBİTAK and BAP funded projects, and co-led the Astrobiology and Origins of Life team at BİYOGEN, coordinating international collaborations, conferences and article discussions. I have publication and book-chapter work in progress related to protocells and drug delivery model organisms.
I complement my laboratory skills with basic bioinformatics (UseGalaxy, NCBI BLAST, molecular docking), proficiency with lab instruments such as spectrophotometers and fluorescence microscopes, and international competition and award experience including GOGEC and NASA Space Apps.
