What I'm looking for

I am seeking an elementary teaching role to apply my preschool and kindergarten experience, lesson-planning strengths, and classroom-management skills in a collaborative, student-centered school with growth opportunities.

I am an aspiring elementary educator currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and building on practical classroom experience. I hold a GED earned in 2014 and transitioned into education after earlier work in public safety.

I taught preschool at a community church from 2020 to 2024, developing age-appropriate lessons and routines that supported early learners. I also served as a kindergarten teacher at Runnels Classical Academy from 2022 to 2024, focusing on foundational literacy and social-emotional skills.

Prior to teaching, I worked as a Correctional Officer with Geo Group Inc. from 2014 to 2017, which strengthened my crisis management, conflict resolution, and record-keeping abilities. I apply those skills to maintain safe, structured classroom environments and accurate student records.

I bring practical lesson-planning expertise, strong Microsoft Office proficiency, and a commitment to student growth. I am dedicated to creating engaging, inclusive classrooms where young children can thrive academically and socially.
