I am seeking a role that allows me to innovate in curriculum design and support teacher development, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.

I am a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and over a decade of experience in teaching various grade levels. My journey began as a Preschool Teacher and has evolved into my current role as a Second Grade Teacher with Wake County Public School System. I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and implementing engaging lesson plans that adhere to state standards.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong skill set in classroom management, curriculum development, and student assessment. I have successfully led grade-level teams, trained fellow educators, and utilized various assessment tools to monitor student progress. My dedication to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with families has been a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
