Elementary educator creating safe, nurturing classrooms that build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
What I'm looking for
I focus on creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages student growth and development. I aim to facilitate engaging and challenging instruction that fosters a love for learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
I bring extensive classroom experience as a TEACHER at Magnolia Elementary School (August 2004–December 2015), Oxendine Elementary School (December 2015–June 2017), and as a TEACHER’S AIDE at Overhills Elementary School (August 2018–June 2020). In each role, I plan and deliver effective instruction across various subjects and grade levels while assessing and monitoring student progress.
I’m committed to individualized support and intervention as needed, and I value collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community members to support student learning and achievement. As a teacher, I maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, behavior management, and social-emotional development—supported by my advanced education (Doctor of Education, 05/2024; Master of Arts in Education, 05/2008).
