What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to further develop my editing skills in a collaborative environment, ideally within a literary or publishing context.

I am an experienced editor with a passion for literature and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of written works. As the Executive Editor of Shoreline Literary Magazine, I successfully organized submissions across various genres, leading discussions and ensuring that all authors felt comfortable with the final edits before publication. My role involved collaborating closely with genre editors and providing constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality of our editions.

Prior to my role as Executive Editor, I served as a Prose Editor, where I honed my skills in managing deadlines and facilitating discussions on fiction and non-fiction submissions. My attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with team members were crucial in maintaining a smooth editing process. Additionally, my experience in customer service roles has equipped me with strong interpersonal skills, allowing me to connect with diverse individuals and understand their needs.
