What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an editorial role where I can support authors with careful copyediting, style consistency, and deadline-driven organization—while contributing thoughtful nonfiction feedback in a collaborative publishing environment.

I’m a detail-oriented creative writing student with a background in visual arts and design, drawn to literature across genres. I enjoy collaboration and learning new things, and I bring editing and copyediting experience from both classroom and professional environments. I’m fluent in social media platforms and editing tools, and I thrive under deadlines while managing schedules and calendars.

In my current role as a copyeditor and nonfiction reader for Lumina magazine, I refined the magazine’s style guide, copyedited fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and read nonfiction submissions to provide summaries and opinions. Previously, as an Editor at Authors Equity, I managed multiple projects simultaneously and edited fiction manuscripts for grammar and language consistency while working independently on deadline. With translation coursework and language skills, I also bring a careful, detail-first approach to editing.
