Reviewed monthly financial performance across four program areas by analyzing actuals and forecasts against approved budgets, identifying variance risks for senior leadership. Conducted expenditure analysis to support 2025–26 cost-saving opportunities and prepared executive-ready variance summaries and risk analyses.

Assessed and reviewed ministries’ capital budget submissions for alignment with Treasury Board policies and fiscal governance standards. Consolidated and stress-tested five-year capital forecasts (~$20B), managing FATS-based capital project coding integrity and producing 160+ high-volume fiscal/capital reports daily for senior stakeholders.

Reviewed and challenged budget submissions for three program areas (100+ employees) by analyzing historical trends and projected changes to identify operational and financial risks. Analyzed a $1B student loan portfolio and $100M in grants and bursaries to assess sustainability and forecast pressures, presenting recommendations to Assistant Deputy Ministers and Executive Directors.

Reconciled and validated ~10,000 outstanding inward railcar claims across 25 partner railroads (~$1.5M exposure), identifying discrepancies to support financial recovery. Audited 1,000 railcar records using SAS for weekly/month-end reporting, and entered monthly SAP entries for TTX (~$10M) and other payment reconciliations (~$500,000).

Conducted Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) to evaluate how system changes affect operational, compliance, and stakeholder needs. Developed UAT scenarios and test cases, gathered business requirements, and tracked issues in Jira to support Agile continuous improvement.

Supported the Residential team in designing energy-efficient program and delivery strategies by building structured market and pricing databases for 10,000+ products and 4,000 Energy Star appliances across 25 retailers. Assisted with the Appliance Recycling Program and supported recycling of 1,500 refrigerators in Manitoba, contributing to reported energy savings equivalent to 500 people.

Analyzed SOPs and pricing/profit margin across 600 local Winnipeg products from 100 suppliers for 8 retail stores, building a decision-ready database on SharePoint. Created a marketing strategy to promote quality and freshness, contributing to a projected 10% sales lift.
