What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to leverage my language skills and passion for cultural immersion in a dynamic environment.

I am a linguistics professional with extensive experience in language teaching, cultural exchange, interpreting, and project management. My journey began with a strong foundation in linguistics, culminating in a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have dedicated my career to fostering cross-cultural understanding and language immersion, which I believe are crucial in today’s globalized world.

Throughout my professional experience, I have engineered engaging lessons and activities for Spanish courses at Christ School, where I also served as a dorm parent and ASSIST representative. My role involved not only teaching but also mentoring students and facilitating their transition into a new cultural environment. My previous positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Language Teaching Assistant in Spain further honed my skills in curriculum design and classroom management, allowing me to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse learners.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as a Health Care Interpreter, where I utilized my language skills to enhance patient care in a medical setting. This role underscored the importance of clear communication and cultural sensitivity in healthcare. I am eager to translate my diverse experiences into new opportunities that align with my passion for International Relations and cultural immersion.
