Paraeducator and substitute teacher who supports students with IEPs and data-informed learning.
What I'm looking for
I’m a paraeducator and substitute teacher who helps students thrive through individualized academic and behavioral support. In my current role at Carpe Diem Academy, I follow IEPs, collaborate with teachers and support staff, monitor progress, and maintain a supportive learning environment for K-12 students.
Alongside classroom support, I’ve taught and guided students in research-driven learning environments. As a Class Instructor at NASA AMES Research Center, I led a student group working on small satellite technology gaps and later helped translate assessment results into a State of the Art Web App experience for user interaction. At UC Berkeley, I supported Astro C12 coursework as a Teaching Assistant & Telescope Operator and operated multiple telescope types on behalf of the Astrophysics department.
I bring that same drive to leadership and community-building. As President of the Undergraduate Astronomy Society, I expanded professional development through student spotlights, faculty talks, workshops, and hands-on telescope operation, astrophotography editing, and science communication—plus community events that connected undergraduates across the Bay Area.
