Education support professional passionate about student wellbeing, behavior support, and inclusive classroom learning.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Teaching Assistant supporting lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where children can grow through independence and self-directed learning. In this role, I assist students with daily activities, prepare classroom materials, and supervise students across classroom, outdoor, and transition times to protect their safety and wellbeing.
Previously, I worked as a Behavior Technician, supporting elementary students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs. I helped implement individualized behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff, provided one-on-one support for positive behavior and emotional regulation, and documented student progress to communicate observations with educators and multidisciplinary teams.
I also bring mentoring and leadership experience from summer resident advisor and science program roles at UCSC, where I mentored high school students, supported their adjustment to a college and research environment, and facilitated community-building activities and daily supervision. Across these experiences, I’m driven to foster safe, inclusive spaces, strengthen academic engagement, and be a reliable point of contact when students need support.
