What I'm looking for

I'm seeking research opportunities where I can lead interdisciplinary work on environmental toxicology, epigenetics, aquatic ecosystem health, water quality, and risk assessment while mentoring students and developing funded scientific projects.

At ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, I investigate Bisphenol A contamination, bioaccumulation, DNA methylation, and ecological health in freshwater and estuarine ecosystems.

My work connects environmental toxicology, molecular biology, and risk assessment, including pollutant effects on steroidogenic and reproductive pathways. I also apply machine learning and explainable AI to evaluate water-quality indicators across major river systems.

Previously, I conducted independent research at West Bengal State University and IASST, and studied renovascular remodelling, hydrogen sulfide signalling, oxidative stress, and epigenetic mechanisms at the University of Louisville.

I've led a SERB/DST-funded project, published 40+ Scopus-indexed papers, mentored MS and PhD students, and contribute manuscripts, proposals, and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
