I am a Scientist C in the Marine Biotechnology Group at the National Institute of Ocean Technology, bringing a strong academic foundation with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and extensive postdoctoral and research experience.
My research focuses on genomics, metagenomics and bioinformatics applied to marine and plant systems, with multiple international peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and awards for posters and presentations.
I have hands-on technical expertise in NGS analysis, sequencing platforms, transcriptomics and metagenome pipelines, as well as practical skills in R, Biopython and various bioinformatics and sequencing softwares.
I am a collaborative team player and organizer who seeks roles that leverage my laboratory and computational strengths to drive applied research and bioremediation, while contributing to scientific advancement and societal benefit.
