Sofia Perez

I am a driven and detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for agricultural communications and policy. Currently, I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in policy and policy administration at Texas Tech University.

Through my extracurricular activities, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills in planning, fundraising, and communications. As a member of the Texas Tech Cattle Women, Women in Pre-Law Society, and Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, I have been able to engage with like-minded individuals and contribute to meaningful projects and events.

My professional experience includes working as a student assistant in the marketing and communications department at Texas Tech University Libraries, where I enhanced and improved engagement through donor relations. I have also gained experience in event planning and execution through my internship at the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo and as a seasonal server at Gringos Tex-Mex.
