I build multi-omic and LLM-powered systems that turn genomic data into actionable biological and clinical insights.
What I'm looking for
At BillionToOne, I built an LLM-powered tumor-variant annotation and interpretation system to improve diagnostic reports and replace QIAGEN Clinical Insight Variant Insights, alongside a web app and database for curating annotation evidence.
At the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I decode adaptive evolution through multi-omics and Bayesian modeling. I've built computational and wet-lab workflows spanning WGS, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, and proteomics; developed a framework for adaptive multi-omic traits; and investigated the genomics of an agricultural pest responsible for $1 billion in annual losses.
I've published 26 peer-reviewed papers, including 11 as lead bioinformatician on a 30-person research team. I also build independent software, from genetic-data-to-orchestral-music composition to shared context tools for LLM agents.
