I'm a Data Analyst and Business Intelligence professional with a passion for turning raw, messy data into insights that drive real decisions. My academic background is in International Relations, which shaped the way I approach data — I'm always looking for the story and the "why" behind the numbers, not just building charts for their own sake.

My technical toolkit centers on Power BI, Python, SQL, and Excel (including DAX and Power Query), which I use to build interactive dashboards, automate reporting, and uncover patterns that aren't obvious at first glance. I'm comfortable working across the full analytics pipeline — from cleaning and modeling raw data, to building relational data models, to designing dashboards that non-technical stakeholders can actually use and trust.

Some of the projects I'm most proud of include:

• Food Business Intelligence Analytics — building dashboards to track performance and trends in the food industry using Power BI.

• Education Crisis in Kenya: CBC Transition Readiness & School Safety — analyzing Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum rollout, assessing school readiness and safety concerns using Power BI and Python.

• Do G7 Climate Commitments Match Reality? — an investigative data project comparing G7 nations' stated climate pledges against actual outcomes, combining Python (Google Colab) and Google Sheets for analysis.

These projects reflect what excites me most about data work: using it to examine real social, environmental, and economic questions — not just business metrics, but issues that matter for communities and policy.

I'm originally from Kenya and currently based in Cyprus, which gives me a genuinely global perspective — I've worked with data and stakeholders across different regions and contexts, and I'm comfortable navigating cross-cultural, distributed teams. I'm looking for remote opportunities where I can bring rigorous analysis and clear communication to data-driven decision-making, whether that's in BI/analytics, marketing analytics, or research-adjacent roles.

Outside of client projects, I maintain a public portfolio showcasing my analytics work and stay active in the data community, continually building new projects to sharpen my skills with emerging tools and techniques.
