As an IT Support Technician, I provided Tier 1 technical support to students and staff in a lab environment. I diagnosed hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops, installed and updated applications and antivirus programs, and assisted with basic LAN, router, and IP troubleshooting.

I also maintained asset logs and technical documentation, and delivered training on safe computer use. At PAICTA, I mentored NQF Level 5 System Support learners, providing practical training in computer hardware, Ethernet cable termination, patch panels, network racks, routers, switches, and network troubleshooting.

My training includes CompTIA A+, Fundamentals of ICT, CCNA Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation, and Fortinet Cybersecurity and Cloud Fundamentals. I’m interested in IT support, system administration, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and digital solutions, and I’m seeking opportunities to contribute while continuing to develop professionally in the IT industry.
